Three Modalities Explored:

Psychology

Psychology is a modern-day western based form of therapy that looks to cure a person through changing thought patterns, belief structures, and behavior. It began development in the late 1800s and early 1900s, and more and more research is added to this day.

Ayurveda

Ayurveda is an ancient Indian form of natural medicine. It is widely known in India as the “mother of all medicines”, as many have traced Ayurveda back to the basis of many modern-day forms of medicine and surgery. It was written into texts 3000 years ago and is based on looking at the body, food, and herbs through the 3-dosha system: Vata (Air), Pitta (Fire), and Kapha (Earth).

Spirituality

Looking at addiction through the spiritual lens is an ancient way to view addiction. Addiction can act as an idol that substitutes our desire to connect with God. Through cutting ourselves off from the holy spirit we miss the inner peace that can only come through true communion.

By combating addiction through natural means, we can heal ourselves from the inside out.



We can get to the root cause of the problem without relying on synthetic medicines or chemicals



. This can lead to greater empowerment, and feelings of confidence moving forward.
