Are you a complete newcomer, eager to begin your adventure into the world of automation testing? Although coding might be challenging for some, it is no longer a barrier to entry. Aspiring testers should begin their path towards automated testing with Coding Basics, the most basic course available. Before you begin creating code in any programming language, you will learn the basics in this course.

Using flowcharts, pseudocode, and Java to explain how to break down a problem into smaller parts will help you understand the basics of how to do this.

Taking this course is the first step in automating your testing process. For Part 2 of this course, we’ll cover the Java programming language; for Part 3, you may select any automation tool, although I’ll be focusing on Selenium for that section.

My career has taken me to a variety of organizations, such as Intel, TCS, Cropin, and HP, where I’ve learned how to use a wide range of testing tools. So come along with me and we’ll learn and develop our first automated script together.

Who this course is for:

  • Manual Testers Interested in Moving Into the Automated Testing Industry
  • Beginners who wish to learn the fundamentals of coding
  • Learners of coding are welcome.
